The first mistake we see is brands and business owners only focusing on views and vitality. While views are great, creating reels that are impactful within your community is more important. Instead of chasing numbers, think about the end goal. If you're solely focusing on views then that is not going to aid with long term brand growth and nurturing. Focus instead on the community you are building with your audience- as that is who will become your customers.
Exclusively Copying Trends
Another mistake we see for Instagram Reels is ONLY copying trends. Trends should be the cherry on the cake, not the basis of a reels strategy. We encourage you to take a trend and make it your own, rather than regurgitate the same trends. Pick up on a trend that is happening in another industry and add your own spin on it. That way, you can utilise trending audios whilst staying original, encouraging your reel to stand out and ‘stop the scroll’.
Not Batch Creating Reels
